So today I went to service in the morning so I could workout after work without having to rush. It would of been fine if I didn’t stay up so late the night before, but that obviously didn’t happen. I went to bed almost 1am and had to be up at 4:30 to get myself ready for church.
After service I bought my mom and I some McDonald’s breakfast, ba da bup bup ba I’m lovin’ it and then had to get some gas. I went to the BP on diversey and central, which I absolutely try to avoid at all costs. There are peddlers, people begging for change and depending on the hour of the day drunks asking for rides or looking for a brawl. It was the only gas station on the way home so I had no other alternatives. While filling up I noticed the guy in front of me locked his keys into his car. He looks around and approaches me and to “help” the situation he only spoke Spanish. He asked if he could borrow my keys. I regretfully did and to my amazement he was able to open his 90’s dodge caravan with my key. Well, I was kind of sort if glad I assisted, but that ultimately made me late for work.
The work day was typical, but with the lack of sleep it made it much longer.
After work was Bikram Yoga which also felt like an eternity. I made it through, but struggled the whole way. After yoga tried making any sort of dinner plans, but nothing they all failed. I found myself at Jimmy John’s then went back to church to help bring my niece to the upstairs nursery.
I finally made my way home where I bummed out and watched the Bulls defeat the Heat.
Good times and I can’t wait for the weekend! Restaurant week….WATCH OUT NOW! ;)
